DemmeHouse is a faith-based publishing corporation committed to inspiring women and young teens through creative arts, fiction, and nonfiction works.
With a mission to transform the lives of women in North America and abroad, advancing women who dare to dream is the reward for our company's vision.
What is Christian Publishing for Women?
Christian publishing for women encourages a shared experience of inspiration between the talented authors we seek to publish and the readers who love them. From a wife who longs for an escape anywhere but home, to a single woman who seeks inspiration without religion or judgement, our mission is to provide a spectrum of books to meet every woman at whatever crossroad she faces.
Life issues can be difficult and oftentimes personal experiences unfold without perfect solutions. Authors are unlikely to write happy endings in each of our publications, but they strive to leave an open door for hearts to be inspired.
New Titles in the Works
God has recently sent more talent our way! We proudly welcome newcomer Abby Rosser with her rewarding novel, Oh To Grace, and Christine McCullough with her forthcoming novel, Ruby & Ruckus. We met both of these ladies at our writer events this past January and we are happy to have them join us.
We also congratulate Christie Williams as she develops the first debut in her new inspirational series, 365. As a motivational speaker, Christie has great stories to share through her new works in progress.
What's in Store
Patricia Whiteside impressed us with her proposal for Journal of a Mother's Love which is now in the hands of our award-winning editor. Patricia's manuscript is beautifully written and will be adored for its creative concept. Look for her new release on November 20, 2012.

The Women in Journey Multimedia Fund
Lisa Mikitarian made her first debut with Her Safari in 2011. The multi-talented author is now spreading her wings to direct film shorts inspired by stories from her book. Drawing from this creative inspiration, we have recently launched The Women in Journey Multimedia Fund. Please join us and learn how you can get involved!
Advice for New Authors
Nothing is more disappointing than meeting an author who lacks vision for a proposed book. Preparation is not only a publishing necessity, but it goes a long way in making a lasting impression.
Jane Austen once said, "Why not seize the pleasure at once, how often is happiness destroyed by preparation, foolish preparations."
